About the Role

About the Role

This is an awake overnight position providing dedicated, one-on-one in-home support to a youth with complex medical needs in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The Health Care Aide will work four nights per week (Wednesday to Saturday — 10:00 AM to 8:00 AM), providing attentive overnight monitoring, personal care, and morning preparation to ensure the youth arrives at school safely and on time.

This role requires a registered HCA who is alert, diligent, and highly observant throughout the entire shift. You will serve as a vital link between the youth, their family, and a remote multidisciplinary care team — communicating updates effectively and documenting the youth’s progress with precision and care.

The right candidate is someone who brings not only medical competence but also genuine warmth, patience, and a deep commitment to the dignity and well-being of the young people in their care.
